Five Percent of Your Purchase Benefits the FIRC--Now Through December 24, 2015

Sometimes it can be hard to remember in the midst of such a breathtakingly beautiful environment, but there are always people facing hardship and crises here in Summit County. When these families and individuals find themselves in need of assistance, it's critical that there are organizations here to help them through these tough times. The Family & Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC) is one such organization, assisting families and individuals through parenting support and education, early childhood development, emergency assistance, health insurance enrollment, medical assistance and a food bank, along with other services.

We absolutely love the FIRC and greatly appreciate the staff and volunteers who work there, and the essential role they play in our community. That's why we're thrilled to announce that Frisco Fun & Formal will donate 5 percent of sales from December 4 through December 24, 2015 to this amazing organization.

All year round, we also sell some really cool wine bags here at the shop. Designed and assembled by FIRC volunteers, which are perfect for dressing up the bottle of wine you're bringing to a party, and they can be reused again and again. Most of these bags are $5, with a few of the fancier ones selling for $7 -- and the entire amount goes directly to the FIRC.

FIRC bags are a great way to showcase a gift of wine--and all proceeds go directly to support FIRC programs.

FIRC also has two thrift stores, one in Dillon and one in Breckenridge, where you can find great deals while supporting FIRC programs. Check out the FIRC website to learn more about all the wonderful things they do here in Summit County!
